“Whosoever has a particle of pride in his heart will not enter Paradise. One of the Companions said, ‘Some people like fine clothes and shoes.’ The Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, said, ‘Allah is Elegant and Beautiful and He likes elegance and beauty. Pride means rejecting the truth out of self-esteem and looking down upon people.’"
