“Whosoever lengthens his loin cloth for the sake of pride will find that on the Day of Judgement Allah will not look at him. Upon hearing this Abu Bakr said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, my loin cloth is apt to slip down unless I attend to it.’ The Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, replied, ‘You are not of those lower it through pride.’"
