We gave allegiance to the Holy Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, to hear and to obey in adversity and in prosperity, in hardship and in ease; to endure discrimination, and not to dispute the command of those in authority over us – unless it is clear disbelief for which you have proof from Allah the High - and that we tell the truth wherever we are and to be patient when reproached or rebuked.”
