“Gabriel promised to visit the Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, but he delayed and the time lay heavy upon the Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him. As he came out from his house he met Gabriel and asked about his delay. He replied, ‘We do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a portrait.’"
