“A blind person came to the Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, and said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, I have no one to guide me to the mosque,’ and then sought permission to say his prayers at home. The Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, gave him permission, but as he was about to leave, the Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, called him asking, ‘Can you hear the call to prayer?’ He replied, ‘Yes.’ Thereupon the Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, said, ‘Then respond to it.’"
