“There were some people from the Ansar who asked the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, to give them something, so he gave to them. They asked again and he kept giving until he had nothing else to give. Then he said to them: 'Whenever I have something, I do not withhold it from you. Remember, whosoever desires chastity, Allah makes him chaste. Whosoever desires contentment, Allah makes him content. And, whosoever desires patience, Allah gives him patience. No one has been given better favors than patience and submission.'”
