“I (Rabi'ah) used to spend my nights in the proximity of the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, and prepare the water for his ablution. One day he said to me: ‘Would you like to ask for something?’ I replied: ‘I ask for your companionship in Paradise.’ He inquired: ‘Is there anything else?’ I replied: ‘That is all.’ He said: ‘Then help me by increasing the number of your prostrations.’"
