“I (Anas) have never felt velvet or silk softer than the palm of the Prophet’s hand, praise and peace be upon him, nor have I smelt any fragrance more pleasant than the aroma of the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him. I served him for ten years. He never said, ‘Huh!’ to me; nor did he say of anything I had done: Why did you do it? or, of anything I had not done: Why did you not do this and this?”

Bukhari and Muslim with a chain up to Anas who related this.
