“Wherever the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, was given a choice he took the easier course, unless it was sinful, in which case he avoided it more than anyone else. Neither did he ever seek revenge for a personal wrong, unless it involved a violation of a Divine Order when such was the case he carried out the punishment for the sake of Allah.”
