“When the Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, arose in the morning he said, ‘O Allah, by Your Favor we have arrived at the morning and by Your Favor we live and die and to You is the return.’

When he went to sleep at night he said, ‘O Allah, by Your Favor have we arrived at the night and by Your Favor we live and die, and to You is the return.’"

Abu Daud and Tirmidhi with a chain up to Abu Hurairah who related that the Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, said this.
