“On the night of his Ascent the Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, was presented with two cups, one containing wine and the other milk. He looked at them and took the one with milk. Thereupon Gabriel said to him, ‘All praise is due to Allah who has guided you to uprightness. Had you selected wine, your nation would have gone astray.’"
