“Omar allotted four thousand dirhams for each of the early Emigrants, but for his son he only allotted three thousand five hundred dirhams. It was said: ‘He is also an Emigrant, why have you allotted a smaller sum for him?’ He replied, ‘His father migrated with him.’" This implied that he was not like one who migrated by himself.
