“A drink was brought to the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, and he drank some of it. On his right was a boy and on his left were older people. He asked the boy, ‘Would you mind if I gave the rest of this drink to those on my left?’ The boy replied, ‘O Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, I would certainly not give preference to anyone else over myself in anything that might come to me from you.’ So he gave him the rest of the drink.”

Bukhari and Muslim with a chain up to Sahl the son of Sa'ad who related this hadith.
