“Abdullah and others were repairing the thatch on a roof when the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, asked, ‘What are you doing?’ They replied, ‘The thatch has weakened and we are repairing it.’ He said, ‘I see the matter (the Day of Judgement) approaching sooner than this.’"

Abu Daud and Tirmidhi with a chain up to Abdullah, the son of Amr, son of Al 'As who related this hadith.
