“On the Day of Judgement Allah will not look at he who trailed his loin cloth through pride. Lady Umm Salamah, wife of the Prophet, may Allah be pleased with her, Mother of Believers, asked, ‘What should the women do with their skirts?’ He said, ‘They may lower them by the span of the hand.’ She said, ‘Their feet would be uncovered.’ He said, ‘Let them lower their blouses by an arm's length but no more.’”
