“A woman asked the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, ‘O Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, the Pilgrimage has been made obligatory by Allah upon His worshipers at a time when my father has reached extreme old age and has not the strength to ride an animal. Can I perform the Pilgrimage on his behalf?’ He answered, ‘Yes.’”
