“I (Othman, son of Affan) saw the Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, make his ablution, and my ablution is like his. He said, ‘Whosoever makes ablution in this manner will have his previous sins forgiven; and his walking to the mosque and his prayer will be an additional recompense.’"
