“In his two units of prayer before the dawn prayer the Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, would recite: ‘Say: 'We believe in Allah and that which is sent down to us, and in what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the tribes; to Moses and Jesus and the Prophets from their Lord. We do not differentiate between any of them, and to Him we are submissive (Muslims).'" (2:136) in the first unit of prayer and ‘When Jesus felt their unbelief, he said: Who will be my helpers in the way of Allah?' The disciples replied: We are the helpers of Allah. We believe in Allah. Bear witness that we are submitters (Muslims).' (3:52) in the second unit of prayer."
