WAKE YOUR SPOUSE FOR THE WITR PRAYER

“The Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, would offer his voluntary prayer while she (Lady Ayesha, may Allah be pleased with her) slept in front of him and when the time came for his Witr prayer (the single unit of prayer) he would wake her up and proceed with his Witr prayer.

When the time came to offer his Witr prayer, he would say to me: (Lady Ayesha), wake up and offer your Witr prayer."
