“A man in armor came to the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, and asked, ‘O Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, shall I go and fight; or shall I become a Muslim?" He answered, ‘Become a Muslim and fight.’ He became a Muslim, fought and was martyred, upon which the Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, said, ‘He fought a little and was greatly rewarded.’"

Bukhari and Muslim with a chain up to Bra'a who related that the Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, said this.
