“I have been commanded to continue fighting until the enemy bear witness that there is no god except Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger, praise and peace be upon him, and establish the prayers and pay the obligatory charity. Once they have accepted their lives and property will be safe, and they have become subject to their Islamic obligations being accountable to Allah.”

Bukhari and Muslim with a chain up to ibn Omar who related that the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, said this.
