ADZ THAARIYAAT 51 The Scatterers - Ath-Thariyat
1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
.1 بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
The Day of Judgement; Allah swears that His promise is true 51:1-14
51:1 By the scatterers (the wind) scattering,
51.1 وَالذَّارِيَاتِ ذَرْوًا
51:2 then the bearers of weight (the clouds),
51.2 فَالْحَامِلَاتِ وِقْرًا
51:3 then the easy runners (the ships);
51.3 فَالْجَارِيَاتِ يُسْرًا
51:4 then by the distributors (angels), ordered;
51.4 فَالْمُقَسِّمَاتِ أَمْرًا
51:5 indeed, that which you are promised is true,
51.5 إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌ
51:6 and the recompense shall surely happen.
51.6 وَإِنَّ الدِّينَ لَوَاقِعٌ
51:7 By the heaven with its passages,
51.7 وَالسَّمَاء ذَاتِ الْحُبُكِ
51:8 surely, you are in different sayings,
51.8 إِنَّكُمْ لَفِي قَوْلٍ مُّخْتَلِفٍ
51:9 and are turned away from him who is turned.
51.9 يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ
51:10 Woe to the liars
51.10 قُتِلَ الْخَرَّاصُونَ
51:11 who are heedless in the immersion.
51.11 الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي غَمْرَةٍ سَاهُونَ
51:12 'When will the Day of Judgement be?' they ask.
51.12 يَسْأَلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
51:13 On that Day they shall be tried at the Fire,
51.13 يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى النَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ
51:14 'Taste your trial. This is what you have sought to hasten!'
51.14 ذُوقُوا فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَذَا الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
