AR RAHMAAN 55 The Merciful - Ar-Rahman
1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
.1 بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
The Mercy of Allah and His signs 55:1-12
55:1 The Merciful
55.1 الرَّحْمَنُ
55:2 has taught the Koran.
55.2 عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ
55:3 He created the human
55.3 خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ
55:4 and taught him its pronunciation.
55.4 عَلَّمَهُ الْبَيَانَ
55:5 The sun and the moon to a reckoning.
55.5 الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ
55:6 The stars and the trees prostrate themselves.
55.6 وَالنَّجْمُ وَالشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ
55:7 He raised the heaven on high and set the scale.
55.7 وَالسَّمَاء رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ الْمِيزَانَ
55:8 Do not transgress the scales.
55.8 أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا فِي الْمِيزَانِ
55:9 Give just weight and do not skimp the scales.
55.9 وَأَقِيمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيزَانَ
55:10 He set down the earth for the creation.
55.10 وَالْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ
55:11 Therein are fruits and palm trees with sheaths,
55.11 فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَالنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ الْأَكْمَامِ
55:12 the grain in the blade; and aromatic herbs.
55.12 وَالْحَبُّ ذُو الْعَصْفِ وَالرَّيْحَانُ
