AN NABA' 78 The News - An-Naba'
1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
.1 بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Those who belie the truth of Allah and yet His signs surround us 78:1-16
78:1 What do they question each other about!
78.1 عَمَّ يَتَسَاءلُونَ
78:2 About the Great News
78.2 عَنِ النَّبَإِ الْعَظِيمِ
78:3 whereupon they are at variance?
78.3 الَّذِي هُمْ فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ
78:4 Indeed, they shall know!
78.4 كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ
78:5 Again, indeed, they shall know!
78.5 ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ
78:6 Have We not made the earth as a cradle
78.6 أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْأَرْضَ مِهَادًا
78:7 and the mountains as pegs?
78.7 وَالْجِبَالَ أَوْتَادًا
78:8 And We created you in pairs,
78.8 وَخَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا
78:9 and We made your sleep a rest,
78.9 وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتًا
78:10 and We made the night a mantle,
78.10 وَجَعَلْنَا اللَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا
78:11 and We made the day for a livelihood.
78.11 وَجَعَلْنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشًا
78:12 And We built above you seven strong ones,
78.12 وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعًا شِدَادًا
78:13 and placed in them a blazing lamp
78.13 وَجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجًا وَهَّاجًا
78:14 and have sent down from the clouds, pouring rain
78.14 وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرَاتِ مَاء ثَجَّاجًا
78:15 that We may bring forth with it grain, plants
78.15 لِنُخْرِجَ بِهِ حَبًّا وَنَبَاتًا
78:16 and luxuriant gardens.
78.16 وَجَنَّاتٍ أَلْفَافًا
