AT TAKWIIR 81 The Winding-Up - At-Takweer
1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
.1 بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
The end of the world 81:1-14
81:1 When the sun is wound-up;
81.1 إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ
81:2 when the stars are thrown down,
81.2 وَإِذَا النُّجُومُ انكَدَرَتْ
81:3 and the mountains have been taken,
81.3 وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ
81:4 when the pregnant camels are neglected,
81.4 وَإِذَا الْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ
81:5 when the savage beasts are gathered
81.5 وَإِذَا الْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ
81:6 when the seas are set boiling,
81.6 وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ
81:7 when the souls are coupled (to their body),
81.7 وَإِذَا النُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ
81:8 when the buried female infant is asked
81.8 وَإِذَا الْمَوْؤُودَةُ سُئِلَتْ
81:9 for what crime she was slain,
81.9 بِأَيِّ ذَنبٍ قُتِلَتْ
81:10 when the scrolls are unrolled,
81.10 وَإِذَا الصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ
81:11 when heaven is stripped,
81.11 وَإِذَا السَّمَاء كُشِطَتْ
81:12 when Hell is set ablaze,
81.12 وَإِذَا الْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ
81:13 when Paradise is brought near,
81.13 وَإِذَا الْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ
81:14 then, each soul shall know what it has produced.
81.14 عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا أَحْضَرَتْ
