AL INSHIQAAQ 84 The Rending - Al-'Inshiqaq
1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
.1 بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
The Day believers are given their book of deeds and meet Allah 84:1-9
84:1 When the sky is torn apart,
84.1 إِذَا السَّمَاء انشَقَّتْ
84:2 hearing and obeying its Lord, as it must do;
84.2 وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ
84:3 when the earth is stretched out
84.3 وَإِذَا الْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ
84:4 and spews out all that is within and voids itself,
84.4 وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ
84:5 obeying its Lord, as it must do!
84.5 وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ
84:6 O human, you are working hard towards your Lord and you will meet Him.
84.6 يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنسَانُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَى رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَاقِيهِ
84:7 Then, he who is given his book in his right hand
84.7 فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ
84:8 shall have an easy reckoning
84.8 فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا
84:9 and will return rejoicing to his family.
84.9 وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُورًا
