AL BURUUJ 85 The Constellations - Al-Burooj

1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
.1 بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Believers who were persecuted because they said Allah is One and has neither a partner nor an associate 85:1-10
85:1 By the heaven of the constellations!
85.1 وَالسَّمَاء ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ
85:2 By the Promised Day!
85.2 وَالْيَوْمِ الْمَوْعُودِ
85:3 By the witness and the witnessed!
85.3 وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ
85:4 The companions of the pit were killed
85.4 قُتِلَ أَصْحَابُ الْأُخْدُودِ
85:5 the fire with its fuel,
85.5 النَّارِ ذَاتِ الْوَقُودِ
85:6 when they were seated around it
85.6 إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌ
85:7 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers
85.7 وَهُمْ عَلَى مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ
85:8 and their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised,
85.8 وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَن يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ
85:9 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things.
85.9 الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
85:10 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning.
85.10 إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ الْحَرِيقِ
