AL GHAASHIYAH 88 The Enveloper - Al-Ghashiyah
1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
.1 بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Description of Hell 88:1-7
88:1 Have you received the news of the Enveloper?
88.1 هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ
88:2 On that Day faces shall be humbled,
88.2 وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌ
88:3 laboring, worn-out,
88.3 عَامِلَةٌ نَّاصِبَةٌ
88:4 roasting at a scorching Fire
88.4 تَصْلَى نَارًا حَامِيَةً
88:5 that is fueled from a tremendously hot fountain,
88.5 تُسْقَى مِنْ عَيْنٍ آنِيَةٍ
88:6 no food for them except thorny plants
88.6 لَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٍ
88:7 which neither sustains, nor satisfy hunger.
88.7 لَا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِن جُوعٍ
