AL 'ALAQ 96 The Clot - Al-'Alaq
1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
.1 بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
The first verses Angel Gabriel taught Prophet Muhammad 96:1-5
96:1 Read (Prophet Muhammad) in the Name of your Lord who created,
96.1 اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ
96:2 created the human from a (blood) clot.
96.2 خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ
96:3 Read! Your Lord is the Most Generous,
96.3 اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ
96:4 who taught by the pen,
96.4 الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ
96:5 taught the human what he did not know.
96.5 عَلَّمَ الْإِنسَانَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ
