AL QAARI'AH 101 The Clatterer - Al-Qari'a
1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
.1 بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
The scales of justice 101:1-11
101:1 The Clatterer (the Day of Judgement)!
101.1 الْقَارِعَةُ
101:2 What is the Clatterer.
101.2 مَا الْقَارِعَةُ
101:3 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is!
101.3 وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ
101:4 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths
101.4 يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ
101:5 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool.
101.5 وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنفُوشِ
101:6 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale
101.6 فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ
101:7 shall live in a life which is pleasing,
101.7 فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ
101:8 but he whose weight is light in the Scale,
101.8 وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ
101:9 his head will be in the Plunging
101.9 فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةٌ
101:10 What shall let you know what the Plunging is?
101.10 وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ
101:11 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot.
101.11 نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ
