AT TAKAATHUR 102 The Excessive Gathering - At-Takathor
1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
.1 بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
The Day you will be questioned 102:1-8
102:1 The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying)
102.1 أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ
102:2 until you visit the graves.
102.2 حَتَّى زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ
102:3 But no, indeed, you shall soon know.
102.3 كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
102:4 Again, no indeed, you shall soon know.
102.4 ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
102:5 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge
102.5 كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِينِ
102:6 that you shall surely see Hell?
102.6 لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيمَ
102:7 Again, you shall surely see it with the sight of certainty.
102.7 ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِينِ
102:8 On that Day, you shall be questioned about the pleasures.
102.8 ثُمَّ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ
