The challenge and questioning of Allah 21:10-15
21:10 Now, We have sent down to you a Book in which is your Remembrance. Will you not understand?
21.10 لَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ كِتَابًا فِيهِ ذِكْرُكُمْ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
21:11 How many harm-doing villages have We shattered and replaced them with another nation.
21.11 وَكَمْ قَصَمْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ كَانَتْ ظَالِمَةً وَأَنشَأْنَا بَعْدَهَا قَوْمًا آخَرِينَ
21:12 And when they felt Our Might they fled from it.
21.12 فَلَمَّا أَحَسُّوا بَأْسَنَا إِذَا هُم مِّنْهَا يَرْكُضُونَ
21:13 'Do not run away. Return to your luxury that you rejoiced in, and your homes in order that you be questioned! '
21.13 لَا تَرْكُضُوا وَارْجِعُوا إِلَى مَا أُتْرِفْتُمْ فِيهِ وَمَسَاكِنِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْأَلُونَ
21:14 They said, 'Alas for us we were harm doers!'
21.14 قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ
21:15 And this they did not stop crying out until We made them stubble, silent, and still.
21.15 فَمَا زَالَت تِّلْكَ دَعْوَاهُمْ حَتَّى جَعَلْنَاهُمْ حَصِيدًا خَامِدِينَ
