A long time ago, before Prophet Muhammad, praise and peace be upon him,
was sent for us, an Israelite lived for sixty years by himself in a hermitage on a
hillside far away from people where he worshipped Allah. Everyone in the
village knew or had at least heard about him, and he was highly respected!

One night the Israelite saw a vision in which he was told that down in the
village lived a cobbler and he was better than him. The Israelite was curious,
and wondered how an ordinary man like a cobbler could be better than
himself, so he decided to go to pay one of his rare visits to the village and visit
the cobbler.
