often as he could. As he climbed back over the hill, he kept thinking of all the
wonderful things that had happened to him that day, and was thankful that Allah
had sent a wolf to guide him to the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him.

When he reached his flock, he found them happily grazing just as he had left
them and counted them. Not one single sheep was missing and so the shepherd
thanked the wolf and gave him a piece of meat so he would not be hungry. The
wolf was happy and ran off home to his family with some food for them.

This story is based on a prophetic quotation and has been adapted especially for
children. InshaAllah, when your children are old enough you will introduce them
to the hadith transmitted by Abu Hurayrah and both you and they will enjoy the
story even more.
