Immense sadness descended upon the household and his wives began to
weep as, with loving care, Lady Ayesha laid his head down upon the pillow
and covered him with a cloak. The last Prophet and Messenger of Allah,

praise and veneration be upon him, had passed away at the age of sixty-
three.
A time to lay the Prophet to rest:
