When Huyay realized he was getting nowhere, he changed his tactics and resorted to
shaming Ka'b for not affording him the customary hospitality. He told him that in his
eyes he was too mean to even share his food with him!

Huyay's ploy worked, and reluctantly Ka'b opened the door. Huyay told Ka'b that he had
brought the chieftains and armies of the Koraysh, Ghatafan, Najd and Kinanah to
