“The reciter of the Holy Koran will be told on the Day of Judgement:
„Read and ascend and recite. Recite as you did in the world,
because your rank will be with the last verse you recite.‟"
Abu Daud and Tirmidhi with a chain up to Abdullah son of Amr, son of Al 'As who
related that the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, said this.

“'What prevents you (Gabriel) from visiting us more often than you
do?' Whereupon the verse was revealed: 'We do not descend
except at the command of your Lord. To Him belong all that is
before us and all that is behind us, and all that lies between '"
