that I gave to some and not to others. Those to whom I did not give
are dearer to me than those to whom I gave. I gave to those in
whose heart I felt was anxiety or unease; the others I left in their
understanding and self-reliance that Allah has instilled in their
hearts.‟ Among those Companions was Amr, the son of Taghlib who
commented: „On no account would I ever exchange these words of
the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, for valuable red
camels.‟ (Red camels are considered to be the best camels).
