That a man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) looking for a mount, he said: 'Mine has been ruined.' So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Go to so-and-so.' So he went to him and he gave him a mount. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever leads to good, then for him is the same reward as the one who does it - or - who acts upon it.'"
h35 فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ فَقَالَ "هَذَا أَمِينُ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ ".
[Diberitakan bahwa penduduk Yaman mendatangi Rasulullah SAW dan meminta agar beliau mengutus seorang yang mengajarkan As-sunah dan Islam] maka beliau mengambil tangan Abu Ubaydah dan mengutusnya bersama mereka seraya bersabda: ini ialah orang yang terpercaya dari umat ini.
[Send with us a person who should teach us Sunnah and al-Islam,] whereupon he (the Holy Prophet) caught hold of the hand of Abu Ubaida and said: He is a man of trust of this Umma.

h36 أثر (أَبو هُرَيْرَةَ(قَالَ إِنَّ النَّاسَ يَقُولُونَ أَكْثَرَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، وَلَوْلاَ آيَتَانِ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ مَا حَدَّثْتُ حَدِيثًا، ثُمَّ يَتْلُو {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَا أَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ {الرَّحِيمُ} إِنَّ إِخْوَانَنَا مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ كَانَ يَشْغَلُهُمُ الصَّفْقُ بِالأَسْوَاقِ، وِإِنَّ إِخْوَانَنَا مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ كَانَ يَشْغَلُهُمُ الْعَمَلُ فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ، وَإِنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ كَانَ يَلْزَمُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِشِبَعِ بَطْنِهِ وَيَحْضُرُ مَا لاَ يَحْضُرُونَ، وَيَحْفَظُ مَا لاَ يَحْفَظُونَ.
Diberitakan bahwa orang-orang membicarakan bahwa Abuhuroiroh banyak meriwayatkan hadits. Ia mengomentari pernyataan mereka yakni yang mendorong beliau tidak menyembunyikan hadits adalah dua ayat Alqur'an yaitu: surah Abaqoroh ayat - dannia menegaskan bahwa beliau memperoleh banyak hadits sebab beliau tidak sibuk dengan suatu pekerjaan apapun (karena termasuk sahabat yang tak berpunya yang tinggal di serambi masjid Nabawi / ahlush shuffah) sehingga beliau bisa terus mengikuti Rasulullah SAW (untukvmengam ilmu / hadits) sedangkan sahabat-sahabat lain sibuk dengan pekerjaannya.
(Abu Huraira) Had it not been for two verses in the Qur'an, I would not have narrated a single Hadith, and the verses are: "Verily those who conceal the clear sign and the guidance which We have sent down . . . (up to) Most Merciful." (:-). And no doubt our Muhajir (emigrant) brothers used to be busy in the market with their business (bargains) and our Ansari brothers used to be busy with their property (agriculture). But I (Abu Huraira) used to stick to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) contented with what will fill my stomach and I used to attend that which they used not to attend and I used to memorize that which they used not to memorize.
h37 مَنْ سُئِلَ عَنْ عِلْمٍ عَلِمَهُ ثُمَّ كَتَمَهُ أُلْجِمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِلِجَامٍ مِنْ نَارٍ
Whoever is asked about some knowledge that he knows, then he conceals it, he will be bridled with bridle of fire.
Siapapun yang ditanya tentang ilmu yang dia ketahui lalu ia menyembunyikannya maka dia akan dikekang hari kiamat dengan tali kekang dari
