Not long after the birth of the Prophet Lady Aminah and Abd Al Muttalib decided to send the newly born to be raised in the desert where the tribes were famous for speaking pure Arabic.
Halima, daughter of Abi Dhuaib from the tribe of Bani Sa'ad and her husband Al-Harith, son of Abdul Uzza - better known as Abi Kabshah - came to Mecca hoping to find an infant they might foster and so it was that Halima became the Prophet’s suckling mother.
