The letter of the eye is a wonder, our Lord, glory be to Him, from a man who invaded in the cause of Allah and defeated his companions, knowing what was upon him, so he returned until I shed his blood, so Allah Almighty says to his angels: Look at my worshipper who returned with desire for what I have and compassion for what is with me until I shed his blood.

How astonishing is our Lord, His Majesty, from two men: a man who revolted from his love and his kinship from between his love and his family to his prayer, so Allah Almighty says to his angels: Look at my worshipper who revolted from his intercourse and his kinship between him and his family to his prayer out of desire for what I have and pity for what I have. What is upon him in defeat and what is his in return, so he returned until I shed his blood, so Allah says to his angels: Look at my worshipper, he returned with desire for what I have and pity for what I have until I shed his blood.
