and they will be thrown into a river called the River of Animals, and they will sprout as love sprouts in the load of a torrent. Do you not see what is from the vegetation to the sun is green, and what is to the shade is yellow?” They said, “O Messenger of Allah, as if you were tending sheep.” He said. Yes, I herded sheep.

On the authority of the Prophet, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said, “How amazing is our Lord, the Mighty and Sublime, of two men, a man who revolted from his intercourse and his lap from among his family and his revelation to his prayer, and he says, ‘Our Lord, O my angels, look at my worshipper. In the way of Allah Almighty, they were defeated, and he knew what he had to flee and what he had to return, so he returned until I shed his blood out of desire for what I have and pity for what I have.

I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, or the Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, the angel enters upon the sperm after it has settled in the womb for forty nights, and Sufyan said once or forty-fifty nights. Male or female, then Allah Almighty says, so they write, so he writes his work, his impact, his calamity and his livelihood.
