Topic | Prohibition and permission of writing hadith
Do not write from me other than the Qur'an, so whoever from me other than the Qur'an he should erase it. Convey the hadith from me and there is no burden, but whoever lies on my behalf intentionally then he should prepare his place in hell.

(Abu Sa'id Alkhudriy) It is narrated that the companions asked the Prophet for permission to write (hadith) but he did not allow it.

Write down the reasons for by the One Whose soul is in His hand nothing will come out of it (ie His noble mouth) except the truth.
