Whoever gives a fatwa without knowledge, then his sins are borne by the one who gave the fatwa. Whoever guides his brother with one thing that he knows that the true guidance is in other than that, then two have betrayed him.

Prophet Musa (AS) stood while preaching among the Children of Israel, then he was asked about which human has the most knowledge? He replied: I am the most pious. Allah also rebuked him because he did not return knowledge to Allah (saying Allah knows best). Allah also revealed to him that indeed one of my servants who can be at the confluence of two seas, he is more pious than you.
