A time will come to mankind, those who are patient with their religion among them are like those who hold coals of fire.

The pious go first and then the next, and what remains, such as the dregs of wheat or dates, Allah pays no attention to them.

It will unravel the knots of Islam one knot after another. Every time one knot unravels people cling to the next one. The first knot to unravel is the law and the last one is prayer.

Among the people who are most deeply in love with me are those who are after me. They wish they could see me even if it was [in exchange] for their family and property.

Peace be upon you, O dwellers of the houses of the believers; while we will actually follow you. [After the Prophet - Peace and blessing be upon him - greeted the grave of Baqi' he said:] I would be happy if we - Peace and blessing be upon him - our brother. You are my friends. Our brothers are those who have not come [to this world]
