Umm Salamah said, "When I was in the same blanket with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, I was bleeding from menstruation, then slowly I got out of the blanket to take clothes (especially for menstruation) and put them on. the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam asked me: " Are you menstruating?" I replied, "Yes." He then called and invited me into the blanket." Zainab said, "Umm Salamah told me that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam also kissed her while she was fasting. Umm Salam said, "I once bathed junub in a vessel with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam.".

(Aisyah) she said, "Me and the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam used to bathe together from one vessel. At that time we were both in junub. He also once ordered me to wear a cloth, then he kissed me while I was menstruating. He also once brought his head close to me when he was in i'tikaf, I then washed his head even though I was menstruating."

Maimunah he said, "The Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- was fondling his wives on (covered) sarongs, while they were menstruating.".
