Topic | Tayammum because it's cold
[from Amru bin Al-'Ash he said; I once had a wet dream on a very cold night during the war of Dzatus Salasil, so I was afraid that I would perish if I took a bath. Then I did tayammum then prayed Fajr with my friends. Then they reported it to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, then he said:] "O Amru, you pray with your friends in a state of junub?" [So I told him about what prevented me from taking a bath and I said; Verily I have heard Allah say: 'And do not kill yourselves, indeed Allah is Most Merciful to you. ' (Surah Annisa'; ), So the Messenger of Allah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- laughed and said nothing.]

[For those who do not repeat the prayer with water] You keep the lifestyle of the Prophet and your prayer is valid. [For those who repeat the prayer with water] for you the reward is doubled.
