(When his son Ibrahim, peace be upon him, died and that day there was a solar eclipse and people thought that it was because of the death of Ibrahim, he said:) Verily, the sun and the moon are two of the many signs of Allah's power. Neither of them get eclipsed by someone's death or someone's life/birth. So if you see something happening from it then pray until the eclipse is revealed. But Allah frightens His servants with both, if you see something from the eclipse then run to remembrance / remember Allah, pray and ask forgiveness of him. - If that happens, then pray and pray until what has happened to you is revealed.

(Abdulloh bin Amr) There was a solar eclipse during the time of the Prophet - Peace and blessing be upon him - , so he called out Asholaatu Jaami'ah (meaning: pray in congregation) and then he prayed with two bowings in one rak'ah, then he got up and continued the next rak'ah also with two bow down in one rakaat then sit down, and the sun will be revealed again.

When a solar eclipse occurs, he prays the eclipse and stands long, then bows long, then stands again long but not as long as the first stand, then bows again long but not as long as the first bowing, then gets up and continues prostration. Then he did the second rakaat as in the first, then finished praying the sun was shining and he preached to the people praising and praising Allah, then said:) Verily the moon and the sun are two signs of the signs of Allah's power, neither of them occurs eclipse due to death or life / birth of someone then if you see it then remember Allah / dhikr, recite / magnify the name of Allah, pray and give charity. O Nation of Muhammad, no one is more jealous than Allah when he sees his male servant or female servant commit adultery. O Nation of Muhammad, if you knew what I know you would have laughed a little and cried a lot. (He prayed loudly / loudly, and with four bowing and four prostrations).
