Verily, the dead will be punished because of the (excessive) crying of their families over them. - The corpse was tortured and buried because of the lamentation over him.

(When the companions - Peace and blessing be upon him - the Prophet (PBUH) weeping for his son Ibrahim who had died, he said:) This is the mercy (mercy) that Allah has placed in the hearts of His servants. Only Allah has mercy on those who are merciful among His servants.

These eyes are weeping and the heart is sad, but we do not say anything except what pleases our Lord, the Mighty and Exalted. By Allah, we are very sad for you, O Ibrahim.

(He announced what would happen in the Mu'tah War, it happened as he said) The banner of this war will be held by Zaid then he will die, then Ja'far will hold him then he will die, then be held by Abdulloh bin Rowaachah then he died (really the eyes of the Messenger of Allah - Peace and blessing be upon him - were in tears) then the banner was taken by Kholid bin Al-Waliid without an order then he was given victory.
