(When the Messenger of Allah - Peace and blessing be upon him - was about to pray for a corpse and it was reported that he had committed suicide, he said:) I will not pray for him.

(The Messenger of Allah - Peace and blessing be upon him - when it is reported about the goodness of a corpse he prays for it but if it is mentioned bad / sin then he says:) It's up to you to (pray or not) this corpse. (Then he did not pray).
